Students can bring their folios, laptops and digital designs to immerse themselves in a day of folio development, prototyping and refinement utilising expertise and industry standard resources at the Casey Tech School with access to:

  • 3D printing,
  • laser cutting,
  • ·vinyl cutting,
  • sublimation printing,
  • large format printing
  •  

Students are encouraged to have their artwork pre-prepared for output to 2D and 3D in advance to fully benefit in an immersive day of development, prototyping and refinement.

Program objectives:

Unit 3 Area study 2
  • Students investigate, research and experiment with a selected media to inform the development of their proposed production
  • Develop skills in the use of media equipment, technologies and processes
  • select and apply a range of methods, media and materials to deliver distinct design solutions.
Unit 4 Area study 1
  • Reiterate and refine production using media technologies at the Tech School with reference to feedback and personal reflection.

1 day as a class or at scheduled times for individual students to attend.
